In your first conversation, your consultant will ask you about your own situation and the reason for the remittance. You will ask what type of mortgage you want, what you are going to pay for now and which business you are going to move to. You will go with a basic choice - this is essentially an estimate of what a creditor is willing to give you - so that you know what you have.

You will need to have several documents with you (link to the section below), a list of which will be sent to you long before the session (if you need to search the whole loft for them...). During the interview, your consultant will guide you through the application procedure stage by stage.

Since they have been researching the lending agent and preparing for the session, it should be an easy process though and let you with a mortgage in place. Following your first appointment with a First Mortgage Consultant, you will receive a briefing with the details you have agreed to discuss. It is to make sure that you are clear about everything and understanding the specifics of the mortgage making lifecycle.

You' ve been discussing why and how to remortgage, now you have to apply to your lending agent for the mortgage you want. Like any application, your First Mortgage Consultant will guide you step-by-step through the application procedure to make sure it is a stress-free time.
