North America's premier consumer banking firm, Credit Karma, today announces that it has named Gannesh Bharadhwaj General Credit Card Business Administrator. Former Renew Financials Chairman Bharadhwaj brought a solid history with him as Credit Karma continues to focus on using innovation to close the technological divide between banking and consumer.

Bharadhwaj will join Credit Karma's management board as General Credit Bank General Business Administrator and will continue to focus on maintaining and expanding Credit Karma's primary membership basis. He will also increase the number of credit cards available to more than 75 million Credit Karma members through new bank partnerships and the expansion of the company's credit cards market.

If we add someone with a backgrounder like Gannesh's, we can further expand our credit cards offerings to offer our members as many choices as possible," said Credit Karma founder and CEO Kenneth Lin.

Mr. Bharadhwaj has more than 20 years of finance service industry expertise, most recently as Chairman of RenewFinance. Previously, he served in various capacities at HSBC, among them General Manager and Chief Operating Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Co-Brand Cards, as well as other functions in Asian retailing and Wealth Management.
